Ms. Krapes-Kiah has been employed with Flowers & Associates since February 2003, providing overall project administrative support and services, and is currently the Public Agency Coordinator & Permit Expediter for the firm. Her work has consisted mainly of permit processing, land use entitlement, due diligence condition compliance documentation and coordination, agency coordination and approvals, storm water pollution and prevention plans, operations and maintenance plans, and various other reports.

Prior to joining Flowers & Associates, Ms. Krapes-Kiah worked for Wall Street Properties in Tarzana, CA, where she helped to successfully oversee their commercial building property management division. She also studied Computer Programming and Multimedia Arts & Design and provided graphic art services to clients during her tenure in Los Angeles County. After her move to Santa Barbara in 2003, Ms. Krapes-Kiah studied at Santa Barbara City College where she received her associate’s degree in Political Science with an emphasis in Multimedia Arts & Design. Since working at Flowers & Associates, she provided website design services in addition to her daily coordination and project administrative duties.

Ms. Krapes-Kiah has worked on a variety of projects over the course of her Public Agency Coordination tenure (single family residences, hotel properties, commercial buildings, multi-residential developments, cannabis cultivation development projects, municipal buildings, etc.) and has successfully obtained permits and approvals from the local regulatory agencies within Santa Barbara County. Ms. Krapes-Kiah has also successfully developed flood emergency operations manuals, plans and certifications for clients with specific adherence to FEMA and Flood Control requirements.

Ms. Krapes-Kiah provides coordination to her clients by effectively obtaining permit and agency approvals as efficiently as possible. She has provided land use entitlement processing, permit processing and public agency coordination on a variety of projects, including:
