Following graduation from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, Mr. Cote returned to his hometown of Santa Barbara in pursuit of a career in Civil Engineering. After a brief tenure at the City of Santa Barbara Wastewater Division, he joined Flowers & Associates, Inc. in 2017.
His technical expertise in design and modelling using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, GIS, HydraFlow and RetainPro allow for flexibility across a wide variety of projects, including commercial, high-end custom residential, public works, school improvements, and land development at both the planning and engineering level. His diverse project experience lends a high-altitude perspective to a broad array of engineering challenges, including grading and drainage design, hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, erosion control plans, earthwork calculations, QSP/QSD design and inspection, and project management.
