Mrs. Krapes-Kiah has been a valued member of Flowers & Associates, Inc. since 2003, providing project administrative support, public agency coordination, and permitting services. As the firm’s Public Agency Coordinator and Permit Expediter, she supports clients through complex entitlement and approval processes, including permit processing, land use coordination, due diligence documentation, agency approvals, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), operations and maintenance plans, and various technical reports.

Prior to joining Flowers & Associates, Mrs. Krapes-Kiah managed commercial property operations for Wall Street Properties in Tarzana, California, where she supported the successful administration of their commercial building portfolio. She also has a background in computer programming, multimedia arts, and graphic design, providing additional skills in document preparation, communication, and project coordination. After relocating to Santa Barbara, she earned an associate degree in Political Science with an emphasis in Multimedia Arts & Design from Santa Barbara City College.

Throughout her career with Flowers & Associates, Mrs. Krapes-Kiah has supported a wide variety of development projects, including single-family residences, hotels, commercial buildings, multi-family residential developments, cannabis cultivation facilities, and municipal projects. She has successfully coordinated permit approvals and agency reviews with local regulatory agencies throughout Santa Barbara County.

Mrs. Krapes-Kiah also has specialized experience preparing flood emergency operations manuals, plans, and certifications in compliance with FEMA and Flood Control requirements. Her ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies helps streamline the permitting process and facilitate successful project approvals.
